FASHION FRIDAY STAR OF THE WEEK

Hey Friends:-)

Today I present to you Sne Joy Sithole Solomon as our fashion friday star of the week and you will see why shortly. This young stylish woman was born in South Africa and now lives in Oxford in the U. K. I asked how she would describe her style and this is what she had to say:

" Almost everything in my closet is a direct result of chance encounters and is absolutely"wallet-driven". I don't think much about outfits as it gives me a headache, but I think it is important for a woman to invest in finding essential and timeless clothing. I have a habit of buying whatever I like, but it's a guarantee that it will go with closet essentials. I value all clothing starting from underwear right up to shoes. I'm addicted  to all but I however have a huge dislike for bags! If it were up to me every girl would have her own personal "man-purse". My current style is very risky but glamorous,(you won't catch me in trainers). I dress like a lady with an attitude!"

"Dresses like a lady with an attitude" I like that and absolutely agree with her!. I like how she almost doesn't stick to norms but rather adds her own unique flavor. I am a colorful person myself and the way she mixes the colors in some her outfits  is on point!!
Light Yellow Boyfriend Jeans: ASOS  (check Asos.com they deliver to S.A)
White Vest: H&M
Dark Brown Peep toe Heels: Office

This whole outfit is from River Island ( I die for that blazer!!!!!)

Black Leopard Sleeveless top: River Island
Electric Blue pencil Skirt: Topshop
(One could defnately wear this to the office just throw a blazer or cardigan on top)

I LURVEEEEEE this look!!!!

Thank you to Sne for contributing!! You are a star indeed. Thank you to you guys for reading I hope you learnt a trick or two.

If you you have style or know of anyone that you think would be the perfect fit , please do drop me a mail.

LEATHER

HELLLLLLOOOOOO:-)

Genuine leather or faux leather? either way it's leather and has been around for years. We all have a aunt, mom, granny or neghbour that either has those vintage leather boots from way back, leather skirts in all colors, leather bag that you secretly wish was yours cause it's so haute or leather jacket. Leather is making a come back this autumn/winter 2012 season and every generation is required to participate! (jokes). There are leather classics like boots, bags, and jackets these are forever in season so investing in either one is an excellent idea. I spotted leather and soft-fabric leggings at Edgars about a month ago but they did not have my size:-( , Zara also had them but the price was a bit steep and I most certainly was not willing to spend that much on faux leather leggings. My lucky day was two weeks ago when I  went to one of my fashion hunt mondays and there they were for an unbelievably low price and a vintage biker leather jacket! at that moment I was the happiest girl:-).

Leather shorts with ombre hair! also trending

 Thank you for reading friends.

NEON POP

Bonjour:-)

Do get out of your comfort zone, try out  high voltage neon's and make your world a brighter place. I believe less is more when it comes to neon's. If you are afraid of color start small with a scarf which you can also use as a turban. Neon's are really just a fun, fearless and colorful way to give your ensemble  life. The only neon's I have are three scarves in lime, pink and orange ( don't judge). I got a bit carried away and had a moment of weakness plus there were really cheap I got them for R10 each sometime last year and I really love them. I also spotted neon shoes in pink and lime about a month ago at Zoom so if you are interested in neon popping go check them out if they are still available.

Her name is Ashley Madekwe I LOVE her neon Loubies!!!!

Thank you for reading.

Till we meet again

EMBELLISHMENTS, SEQUINS AND STUDS

Hello:-)

I'm sure you guys have seen a lot of garments or accessories with embellishments, sequins and studs  of late. Those that know me will know that I am all about detail, detail and more detail!! because to me detail is what adds that "WOW FACTOR" to the simplest piece of clothing and could either give it the edge or the class it needs. Embellishments, sequins and studs are purely for decorative purposes and are added to make the garment or accesory more appealing. All these things can be bought in fabric stores if you would like  to do some DIY  and add some VOOMA to any of your garments or accesories. Last thing if you are one of those people that think sequins can only be worn during night time, think again my friend because you can look just as good and sparkly during the day what makes a difference is HOW you wear it.
